Each shade is unique to ReChic® and manufactured by hand in the UK. The eco-friendly fabric is made by a family-run company in the EU, has a geometric, cantaloupe orange design and is composed of 85% recycled cotton and 15% PET (plastic bottles).
The cotton is generated from recycled clothing, which when compared with using virgin material, saves water, reduces CO2 emissions and uses no pesticides, fertilisers or dyes. The PET is made by shredding plastic bottles into small pieces, melting them, before turning them back into yarn.
The shade frames are constructed from a combination of card and non-recycled PVC, which provides structure and ensures they meet UK and EU fire regulations.
They are compatible with standard Edison screw (ES) or bayonet cap (BC) lamp holders and are suitable as ceiling pendants or on lamp bases.
We offer the shades in three sizes:
10 inches diameter x 10 inches high (25.4 x 25.4cm)
12 inches diameter x 7.5 inches high (30.5 x 19cm)
16 inches diameter x 9 inches high (40.6 x 22.9cm)
